MORNING RUNS!

So, I got a little bit of a late start got out around 6:30. Had a little bit of coffee before I stepped out. Now that I have my Nike+ chip I was able to measure my outdoor run. It is 3.53 miles. So now I know that I need to add an additional half mile to hit my 4 mile goals for the day. Will start that tomorrow. My ankle is giving me a little problem but not too bad. Will watch it to make sure it doesn't evolve into a problem.

I'm going to talk about something a little embarrassing but it's important to discuss if you are going to start picking up your running routine. After a little bit of coffee this morning I hit the trail and a little more than half way through I was desperately looking for a bathroom. Thank god there was a community center that I run through and the public restroom was open. Remember, the idea of waking up at least 30 minutes earlier than you want to start your run is to give you time to have your coffee maybe a slice of toast and walk around the house to get your stomach moving. You want to try to hit the toilet before you hit the pavement. Trust me it will be beneficial for a successful morning run.

Well, as you can see I love my Nike+ Mini Chica! Isnt' she cool? I wish I could add some additional clothing but it's cool for now. Oh I also signed up for a half marathon training program. Going to make sure I'm able to add it to the blog so that you all can keep track as well as I can.

That's it for now...OH BTW I happen to be watching some morning shows and CBS Early Show was talking about BREAD! But they didn't even really give any help on the matter. If you want more detail information check out the September issue of Runner's World. (if you can still find one out there) Check out the article here. It's important to know about bread. You don't have to completely cut out bread from your diet just eat it in moderation and know the calories. I will take credit for starting the BREAD CHATTER.

Until later...TOOTLES
